Please pray for our 4 youngest grandchildren at school and home. The school sent the 5 year old home again because he was sleepy and they required us to take him to a doctor for a note showing he didn't have a contagious virus. This is the second doctor visit in 10 days just so we can produce a doctor's excuse and clearance for them to let him return. Doctor did the full exam AGAIN and determined he had no illness AGAIN. I think I messed up badly when I walked into the school with the note. I was ANGRY and said a LOT of things I shouldn't have. I'm very worried and praying they don't cause us more problems than they already have. I went a little crazy and I'm very ashamed of my behavior. My son and his wife have to work long hours and can't just run to the school to pick up one of the boys every time the staff overreacts. So, today for the second time, it was ME who took him to the doctor just to appease them. The nurse is crazy and so is the new vice principal. I let them know. And now I'm very scared. They have so much power over parents and children here and if they are set off, there's no limits to their retaliation. Small town nonsense. I didn't tell my son or his wife that I went up there with the note and let the school staff know just how I felt about it (rudely.) I was awful. I already know he's not going to be able to stay awake tomorrow because I heard him running around late after taking a long afternoon nap, throwing off his sleep. Please pray for this mess that it doesn't cause problems for the kids or my relationship with everybody. I should've just kept my mouth shut at the school when I went to pick up the other two boys this afternoon.
