Please pray that our 3 year old grandson is able to overcome the trauma and grief after their dog mauled his two pet bunnies to death. He's seen so many horrific things like that and they need to stop getting pets. On top of that, the 3 year old is being BLAMED for it, because he went into the unlocked garage filled with dangerous tools and equipment, and the separate part that housed the rabbits. He left the door open and the dog got in and ripped them apart. They were special domestic rabbits and a gift from my daughter, their aunt. Their Dad is very saddened and upset and is out of town on business today when this happened. He, as opposed to their side of family have VERY different ideas about animals. They let the little toddlers play with some newborn kittens like they are stuffed toys for example. Literally every single time, their negligence results in tragedy. They let two toddlers run outside without supervision in so many scary scenarios. They also don't seem to be able to understand the danger those children are subjected to. Thank God and His Angels for protecting them when they are constantly in harm's way. They've seen two of their dogs struck by cars and die in just the last few years. They have no secure perimeter for the kids either and live on a busy road. It would be one thing if they SUPERVISED things! Just because no children's lives have been lost or severe injury due to the ever watchful eye of Our Lord, they believe nothing bad will ever happen. Please pray for all of them, especially the youngest child who is grieving and being blamed.
