Please pray that our granddaughter, Adrianna Armendariz gets a birthday acknowledgement from her Dad, Pedro Armendariz. She turns 15 Monday the 18th, but we're having a family gathering in celebration today. Any type of acknowledgement at all, not even taking into account the holidays and birthdays. She tried to get together with him for Thanksgiving, but he was drinking and fell asleep or something. She cried for a very long time. She sent him so many messages and he never responded. In the following days, out of the blue, he sent her multiple images from her early childhood years, I guess to try and show her he still loves her. She still feels betrayed. She was only 3-4 when Pedro and our daughter, Shauna separated. It was very hard on her. Please pray they can be reconciled from her anger and despair after the Thanksgiving fiasco. She was supposed to spend part of that day at her Dad's. He has disappointed her so many times, and she's a very sensitive girl. Please let her know he loves her and just has issues showing it. They used to spend weekends together at his house, and he now has a wife, Sara and a 2 year old girl. All of them live within a mile of one another. Our entire family lives within a mile, too. (except James and his family in Montana.) Please pray that beer doesn't keep controlling his life and being available for his daughters and family. He works very hard all week but still.
