Please pray for Matt. I know he didn't come home or sleep last night But this morning I got up for coffee and just now saw him walk by the window on the porch. I was so happy but immediately after he walked toward the front door, I saw him walk back to the driveway. He got in his car and drove off very fast. Unsafely fast. Just as he walked toward our door, my husband and I were talking about our grandson , little Matthew. How he pointed out 25 things on the screensaver on our TV while he was here last time. My husband George calls big Matt by the name 'Matthew' too. I'm absolutely sure Matt overheard, and in his delusional state of mind, thought everyone was talking about HIM. Please pray for his mental state. That he can trust that there's no conspiracy against him by the entire family, like he believed yesterday. He hasn't had that particular manifestation for almost two months since he came home from jail and was sober for a length of time. I can hardly even keep track of his ups and downs lately. Please, Lord help him and all of us as a family. This shift of thinking we are all talking about him and plotting schemes against him, is a rough one for him to come back from.
