Please pray for Sean and Kristal and their five children, ages 2-14. They had a kitchen fire early morning while asleep. It is believed to have started with a burner left on by the 14 year old who grilled a hot dog on the electric burner. There will be a lot of clean up and having the replace everything in the kitchen as well as smoke covering the paint and ceilings throughout the house. They lost all of their food. The children awakened to coughing and gagging and alerted Sean and Kristal. They need lots of prayers, partly because of the blaming and screaming at one another, and how that's affecting family relationships right now. Also, the physical work involved, because all of our family members have disabilities, and no homeowners insurance to fall back on. Finding trustworthy and able bodied help will be challenging as Sean can't afford to hire professional help. They have a few that have the ability and willingness to jump in without payment, but please, Lord Jesus, send your angels to help today and in the coming days until things are back in order. Sadly, neither my husband or I are physically able to do ANYTHING. St. Joseph and the Holy Family, help please. Help in repairing and making a home suitable for their little family. Please, pray for the children's lungs and sinuses recover quickly. They were all very lucky to get out when they did. As for now, they don't seem to have any residual problems from the smoke. This all transpired less than an hour or two ago, and Kristal took the kids to her mom's house to get fresh air and to clean up and get checked out. The fire was believed to have only burned 45 minutes before the kids started coughing and they got out. The entire wall will need to be torn out and replaced as far as Sean can tell. Not sure about the electrical aspects that might need replacing. One of their good friends is a licensed electrician and will check and repair at very little cost.
