Please pray that my son doesn't blow all of the money he has to his name today when taking his 4th grade son shopping for shoes and school clothes. Please pray he can make sensible choices. Every time he takes his boy inside a store, he caves in to the boy's every whom. He spent $100 on a Lego set last time because his son said "Please" more than once. He ended up without enough to even buy lunch or a drink. His son now realizes he can make his Dad buy anything to make him happy. Then our little grandson has actually hit himself in the head and injured himself multiple times after his Dad gets angry because there's no money even left for necessities. It's an awful cycle. He even tells his Dad, crying uncontrollably, "Why did you let me buy it then Dad?!" Please pray for their shopping trip to go well today. For everyone to be satisfied without going nuts or having regrets. There are several name brand discount stores here. Our son wants his son to have the best so the boy can be proud and brag at school. Apparently, our son was made fun of when he was school aged for not having brand named clothing and shoes.
