Please pray for health and wellness in our family. George to comply with the requirements of his hospital stay so he can continue to get better. He yanks his IV out almost as soon as they get another one in. He won't leave his telemetry lead and stickers on. I sat in his hospital room all night just to try to keep him from taking it all off and walking out. He's so confused and forgets what he's even there for. He has severe COPD and lung cancer which he finished last radiation treatment on Friday. Developed pneumonia over the weekend and had to be admitted for IV antibiotics, breathing treatments, and his oxygen levels. He denies needing any of it. I'm so exhausted I'm sick now. I am elderly with my own health problems, severe anxiety and more. Two years ago, my husband became like a space zombie after the Covid, winter ice storm, no water and no power or heat for days. It's like I look in his eyes but he's not who he was. Doctor never found reason. Maybe his oxygen levels from the smoking and refusing to get out of bed until now his heart and lungs are failing. He's supposed to come home tomorrow if all goes well today. Please pray that he does everything they need him to for getting the antibiotics in his veins, that he continues to improve at home and that SOMEHOW I can have the strength and fortitude of body and mind to deal with all of these things, and pray for the rest of us in constant and never ending crises each day without respite.
