For the oldest of five grandchildren, Rio, who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. He now has a metal rod in his leg and endured chemo. Later had nodules removed from his lung. A nodule has reappeared in the same spot and may be removed with invasive surgery this time. He is eleven years wise. I would trade places with him, if I could. He has a second opinion appointment, tomorrow, on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Asking for strength for all of our family as we accompany Rio's journey to beat this. Que Nuestra Senora nos cubra con su manto.
I recently participated in a pilgrimage to Fatima, Lourdes, Garabandal and other blessed sites in Portugal, Spain and France. I offered it to my grandson.
