Dear Heavenly Father,
First, thank you for always guiding and loving me. Today, I went to go visit my 80 year old father who is widowed recently. Historically we did not have a great relationship. Sitting and listening to him as he seems lonely and frustrated he opened up to my middle sister and I. Seems as though the house he bought with his GI Bill many years ago some how is now in my stepsisters name. Has nothing left even the life insurance premium he was paying into all these years for him and my stepmom he got very little money from it and my step sister ended up with tons more of it. He's 80 has 3 daughters from our side of family. The relationship with my sisters and I have been estranged all these years. My eldest sister offered to have him live with them but bc he feels obligated to take care of my stepmoms dog who is 15 and not in great health he's stressed out and feels lonely it's seems and has very little to service off. I know this was your plan to see what really was going on. My sister and I left our visit with him saddened and in disbelief. Father, please forgive me for all my sins. Please guide my father. I pray that he moves to live with my eldest sister soon and enjoys what he has in life. Father, thank you for your continued undying love and support. In Jesus' name. Amen.
