Dear Heavenly Father,
First, thank you, Father for all that you do and continue to do. To everyone, thank you for the continued prayers, please keep them coming. My boyfriend, John Kemp (fighting Stage 4 Stomach Cancer since January) is starting to feel a bit better turned out he caught the flu had to go to ER. His broken foot they did emergency surgery on is healing but very very slowly his Dr stated the chemotherapies in his system is slowing down the healing and in turn because of his low immunity he caught the flu. He's been resting more today as he is still recovering from the flu and his foot is still healing. About a month ago, his Dr gave him news that all the aggressive chemotherapies since January are not working they suggested to discontinue the chemotherapies. Since they discussed other alternatives such as surgery to remove areas they are able to where the cancer has spread. After his emergency surgery on his broken foot he went into surgery for his stomach. Today he had a follow up appointment with his Dr for his stomach (cancer). He said results were positive but we still have a long road ahead. He mentioned they are discussing other options before they proceed with more surgical procedures. Father, thank you. This is a small win. The only positive news since his diagnosis but I do understand we still need to keep faith, pray presistently and ask for a miracle. Father, please forgive all my sins. I am here to serve you. Please continue to protect John, lay your healing hands on him rid of all the cancer cells in his body. Restore John back to health so he can serve you. Father, we can't do this on our own. We need your love and help. Im asking for a miracle to have more time with my love and best friend, John. Thank you for your undying love and support. I'm afraid but I trust in you Father. In Jesus' name. Amen.
